Internet Room Control

Using X10 modules on my lamps, I was able to put the lights in my room under control from the internet. It was a simple matter of plugging the Firecracker serial line interface into my web server and making a cgi program that sends commands to it from a web form.

In order to get the firecracker working with the Webpal, I had to make a parallel port adapter for it. You can see a black antenna sticking out of the back of the Webpal. This is the parallel port adapter that contains the Fircracker module.
